WHERE TO FIND US

South MPLS at the corner of Hiawatha and 46th Street.

You can find the Venn taproom and coffee shop a few blocks from Minnehaha Falls, sandwiched between Lakes Hiawatha and Nokomis and the mighty Mississippi, and a stone’s throw from Highland Park.

You can get to us by light rail, bus, bike, car, scooter, or your own two legs.

We’re only four (4) light rail stops from the MSP Airport – Venn Brewing is one of the closest breweries to the airport. Swing through for a beer or a coffee if you find yourself on a long layover!

Wondering about parking or what to expect in the taproom? We’ve got Taproom & Coffee Shop FAQ answers below.

Gluten-Reduced Beer

All of our beers are gluten-reduced, all the time. We add an enzyme to our fermentations that breaks down the naturally occurring gluten in our brewing grains into simpler proteins and amino acids, effectively negating any existing gluten. However, because our beers are made with barley, wheat, oats, and rye, we can’t call them “gluten-free”.

We don’t lab test all of the beer we make for gluten, but the ones that we have tested passed the Celiac-safe standard of 20ppm gluten with flying colors. We’ve had many guests with gluten sensitivities and intolerances drink our beer with no problems at all – but, of course, you’ll have to consume at your own risk.

To-Go Beer (16-oz Cans + Growlers)

Want to take some delicious Venn beer home? We’ve got pre-filled 16-oz cans available at the taproom! You can buy them individually or in 4-packs. Come on in and order them from the bar. We are no longer selling to-go beer from our website.

Want to take even more delicious Venn beer home? Bring in your own CLEAN 64-oz growler for fresh-from-the-tap beer. We no longer sell our own growlers, so don’t forget to bring yours! Make sure you rinse ’em out at home first – we won’t put awesome, fresh beer in stanky old growlers, and we do check before filling. (We also still don’t offer a refund for returned growlers – that’s never been our jam.)

The latest we can sell to-go beer is MON-SAT is 10 pm.

The latest we can sell to-go beer is SUN is 6pm.

They also need to stay snugly closed until they’re off the premises. That’s all state law, friends.

Drinks... That Aren't Beer

For those looking for a non-alcoholic option, we now offer VENN Coffee Tuesday – Sunday, 8am – 4pm! Check out the coffee menu HERE.

We’ve also got a range of locally-produced sodas and kombucha, juice for the little ones, and non-alcoholic beer available.

Also available to-go is our new line of ZENN THC Tonic, a non-alcoholic tonic enhanced with THC and real fruit. See more details HERE.

As for other outside beverages, we have to be sticklers: you’re welcome to bring in water bottles, but we can’t have any other alcohol in the brewery except our own delicious beer. That means no wine, no cider, no liquor, and no other brewers’ beers consumed on our premises. That’s all state law that we’ve gotta enforce.

Food

Beer loves food! We don’t have a kitchen ourselves, but we book food trucks almost every day to park right out on the patio – check out the FOOD TRUCK & EVENTS CALENDAR for the full schedule.

Want to bring your own grub? We’re cool with that, too – just make sure you’ve got all the utensils and serving ware you’ll need, ’cause we don’t keep any on hand.

Dogs

We love doggos! Leashed pups with well-behaved humans are welcome inside and out.

Please keep a close eye on your pets and come prepared to take care of their various needs. We want to be able to host our furry friends, but the privilege to do so is dependent upon them being adequately looked after.

Parties, Large Groups & Taproom Rentals

We’re stoked to be able to host large groups again! We offer reservations for groups 15 – 40, based on availability. To inquire about hosting your party at Venn, send an email to [email protected] with your name, the nature of your event, the date and time frame you’re looking for, and a guest headcount.

Please note that we don’t offer full-use, exclusive reservations for the taproom or patio during normal hours of operation.

Parking

You can easily make your way here by light rail, bus, bike, or on foot.

If you plan to come by car, we’ve got 14 reserved spaces in the parking lot just north of our building, clearly marked with Venn Brewing signs. Parking spots are reserved for guests currently in the taproom; if you leave Venn but your car doesn’t, there’s a pretty good chance it’ll get towed. We hate for things to be complicated, but sharing our space with the transit center makes things… interesting.

Let’s be real: sometimes a visit to the taproom is too much fun, and driving home afterward isn’t a safe choice. If you need to make the responsible decision of getting a ride home, please check in with bar staff and let them know the make, model, and color of your car so we can account for it at the end of the night. We do ask that you collect it before noon the next day.

On-street parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhood, but pay attention to the posted parking rules. We love our neighbors, so please be cool to them and respect their property if you’re parked on their street.

Whatever your mode of transportation, please make plans to arrive and depart in a responsible fashion.

SNOW EMERGENCIES & PARKING IN THE VENN LOT:
During a snow emergency, cars left in the lot after Venn has closed WILL get towed – from any spot, no matter what, even if you told the staff you need to leave your car. That one’s beyond our control, friends.
